Do you feel horrified and helpless when you read about the worsening COVID-19 situation in India?

Yoga is one of India’s gifts to the modern world. Because of yoga, I can breathe better, which helps me be more calm and strong in my mind and body. The gift of yoga is something I hold and share from a place of deep gratitude.

Right now, India is struggling with rampant COVID-19 variants and soaring numbers of cases. The US has sent aid and supplies to help offset the COVID-19 related death and devastation, but more is needed.

Here’s what we’re going to do to help India breathe

  1. Free First Friday Yoga is canceled for May 2021. Instead…
  2. Please join me in making a sliding-scale donation and participating in the 24 Hour+ Global Yoga Marathon for India COVID-19 Relief – a three-day yoga event May 7-9th, 2021.
  3. Learn from some of the best yoga teachers in the world from the comfort of your home and support the nation that brought yoga to the world.

One hundred percent of your donation goes directly to India. Please give generously and share this event wherever you can.

Hope to see you on your mat this weekend.
